I am a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor who works with individuals on a wide range of issues. I have specific experience in self-esteem, personal growth, anxiety, life transitions, depression, and work stress. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to be open and authentic without fear of judgment.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Rehabilitation Studies. I went on to earn my Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have had the privilege of gaining experiences from a variety of settings, such as private therapeutic practices, domestic violence agencies, state government agencies and education.
I am a Texas native currently living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love true crime tv and Jhene Aiko. People that know me best would say that I am caring and supportive.
My counseling style focuses on building a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship; I bring my authentic self to sessions in hopes of encouraging you to do the same. I believe that you are the expert in your life and will follow your lead throughout the session, providing support, empathy, and compassion. The interventions and techniques utilized will be tailored to fit your needs as I learn about you and how to support you on your journey.
